The gardens are available for guests’ use, and include seating, picnic table, small barbecue, bog garden, kitchen garden, large lawns and flowerbeds, as well as the meadow on the other side of the cottages.

At the end of the garden is a view over Sturminster Newton Mill, the River Stour and the countryside beyond.

You can walk through the meadow adjoining the garden, over the stile and down to the Mill —a short-cut to the bridge and the town.

 

Dogs are welcome on a lead in the garden, and can run off the lead in the adjoining meadow.
