The town is 10 minutes’ walk or 3 minutes’ drive from the cottages.  Shops include: baker, butcher/deli, greengrocer, chemist, supermarket, newsagent, post office, doctors, dentists, vets. 

Banks: NatWest, Barclays, Lloyds.

Takeaways: fish and chips, two Chinese, Indian, kebab & pizza, carvery.

Eating out: The Swan, The Bull, Café Spice (Indian restaurant), three cafes.

 

Our nearest pub is The Bull, less than 5 minutes’ walk down the hill.
